For pigmentation concerns that laser toning didn’t quite satisfy Alex Toning
Even after receiving laser toning multiple times, were you still worried about remaining blemishes and pigmentation? Alex Toning uses a 755nm Alexandrite wavelength which has high melanin reactivity, to more clearly target superficial pigmentation, blemishes, and dull skin tone that were not adequately addressed by conventional laser toning alone. In addition, fine facial hair is instantly tidied, making makeup apply better and skin appear smoother. Stubborn pigmentation becomes clearer, fine hair is lightly tidied, and skin tone becomes brighter. With Kkeuthan Clinic's Alex Toning, resolve the pigmentation concerns that were left wanting by traditional toning. * VAT not included

What Is Alex Toning?
Alex Toning is a low-energy pigment toning treatment
that uses the 755nm Alexandrite wavelength,
which has a high absorption rate in melanin.
Conventional laser toning mainly uses the 1064nm wavelength,
which is relatively gentle and suitable for repeated treatments.
However, it may require many sessions,
and improvement of surface-level pigmentation can sometimes feel slow.
In contrast, Alex Toning uses the 755nm wavelength,
which has high melanin reactivity,
to target pigmentation located closer to the skin surface more clearly,
such as dark spots, freckles, hyperpigmentation, and dull skin tone.
It is especially recommended for those who have received laser toning consistently
but still have remaining pigmentation
or feel that their skin tone still looks dull.
The key advantage of Alex Toning
is that it targets pigmentation that may have been difficult to improve
with conventional laser toning
using the 755nm Alexandrite wavelength.
Additionally, fine facial hair is lightly refined during the treatment process,
which can make the skin texture look smoother
and help makeup apply more evenly.
In other words, Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic’s Alex Toning can be understood as:
Pigment toning as the main focus,
with fine facial hair refinement as an added benefit.
What Makes Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic’s Alex Toning Different?
Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic’s Alex Toning
is not a basic toning treatment that simply passes the laser over the entire face.
We check the response to previous toning treatments,
the type and depth of pigmentation, skin tone,
and the distribution of fine facial hair,
then adjust the energy level and laser delivery method
according to each skin condition.
Pigmentation that felt insufficiently treated with previous toning is targeted more clearly,
dull skin tone is refined to look clearer,
and fine facial hair is lightly managed.
The treatment is performed with both skin tone
and skin texture in mind.
1. Targeting Pigmentation That Conventional Laser Toning Could Not Fully Improve
Even after multiple laser toning sessions,
dark spots may remain faintly visible,
or the skin tone may still look dull.
In these cases, rather than repeating the same wavelength,
it may be necessary to approach the pigmentation
with a different wavelength that matches the location and characteristics of the pigment.
Alex Toning uses the 755nm wavelength,
which has high melanin reactivity,
to target surface-level pigmentation, dark spots, freckles, and hyperpigmentation
that may have been difficult to improve with 1064nm toning alone.
2. Intensive Melanin Targeting With the 755nm Alexandrite Wavelength
The 755nm wavelength used in Alex Toning
has a strong response to melanin.
It clearly targets pigmentation located close to the skin surface,
helping refine skin tone that looks dull, uneven, or unclear
into a brighter and cleaner-looking complexion.
For skin with a mix of melasma, dark spots, freckles, and hyperpigmentation,
it is important to choose a wavelength that suits the skin condition
rather than repeating only one type of toning.
3. Smoother Skin Texture Through Fine Facial Hair Refinement
Fine facial hair can cause makeup to lift,
make the skin tone look dull,
and make the skin texture appear less refined.
As Alex Toning targets pigmentation,
it can also lightly refine fine facial hair on the skin surface,
helping the skin look smoother immediately after treatment.
It is a good option before important events
when you want to refine not only spots and skin tone,
but also makeup adherence.
4. Delicate Low-Energy Toning Customized to Skin Tone and Pigmentation Condition
Lasers that react strongly to melanin
can increase the risk of redness, stinging, or post-inflammatory pigmentation
if applied too aggressively.
At Kkeut Korean Medicine Clinic,
we check skin tone, pigmentation depth, sensitivity, and redness
before customizing the treatment for each patient.
The energy level, irradiation speed, and number of passes
are carefully adjusted to better target pigmentation
while reducing unnecessary skin irritation.
5. Complex Toning That Considers Pigmentation, Tone, and Texture Together
Skin does not always look uneven because of just one spot.
Dark spots, freckles, hyperpigmentation, dull tone, fine facial hair, and uneven texture
can all combine to make the skin look darker and rougher overall.
Alex Toning focuses on pigmentation,
while also considering skin tone, fine facial hair, and skin texture.
This allows the treatment to go beyond general pigment removal
and help the overall skin look cleaner and smoother.

Precautions After Treatment
ㆍTemporary redness, heat sensation, or stinging may occur after treatment.
ㆍOn the day of treatment, please avoid saunas, jjimjilbangs, intense exercise, and alcohol.
ㆍThe skin may become dry, so please apply moisturizer generously.
ㆍAfter pigment treatment, UV exposure can cause pigmentation, so please apply sunscreen thoroughly.
ㆍWhen going outside, please reapply sunscreen every 3 to 4 hours.
ㆍEven if dead skin cells appear after treatment, do not forcefully rub them off or use scrubs.
ㆍIt is recommended to avoid irritating products such as retinol, exfoliating products, and high-concentration vitamin C for a few days.
ㆍFine facial hair may appear temporarily refined after treatment, but this is different from semi-permanent hair removal.
ㆍIf you want semi-permanent reduction of fine facial hair, separate facial fine hair laser hair removal is recommended.
ㆍIf you have melasma, it may temporarily darken depending on skin stimulation.

Q&A
고객님들이 가장 많이 물어보시는 내용을 모았습니다.
What is the recommended frequency and number of sessions for toning treatment?
We recommend at least 10 sessions, generally spaced 1-2 weeks apart.
Can acne appear after toning treatment?
After toning treatment, those with active sebaceous glands may temporarily experience acne breakouts. If this occurs, it will naturally subside over time, so there's no need to worry too much. However, please be careful not to irritate your skin and ensure sufficient hydration and moisturizing. If you still feel uncomfortable after observing for about a week, we can assist you with a follow-up visit to check your progress.
